CHS Consulting LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates this web-based career interview tool (the "Service"). The Service conducts a structured AI-powered interview and generates a downloadable package of career documents, including a Career Context File and related materials (the "Package"). The Package is designed to be used with third-party AI tools to generate tailored career materials.
By purchasing access to or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Access to the Service requires a one-time payment processed through Stripe. First-time access is $20; returning customers pay $10. Prices are in USD and may change at our discretion. Access is granted for one interview session, including the ability to resume an incomplete session within 24 hours. Discount codes may be offered at our discretion and may be revoked or modified at any time.
You own the content of your Career Context File and all generated documents in your Package. These are your words, your story, and your facts — we claim no ownership over your output. You may use your Package with any AI tool, share it with career coaches, or modify it in any way you choose.
The interview methodology, six-pillar framework, system prompts, question structure, document templates, and all software code remain the intellectual property of CHS Consulting LLC. You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell our methodology, interview structure, or system prompts.
The Service does not guarantee employment, interviews, callbacks, or any specific outcome. We provide a structured career document and tools to improve how your experience is presented to AI systems and hiring processes. Results depend on your experience, the job market, how you use the materials, and many factors outside our control.
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide during the interview. The Service generates documents based on what you tell it. We do not verify claims, credentials, employment history, or metrics. Misrepresenting your qualifications in career materials may have legal consequences that are solely your responsibility.
Portions of your Package are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude API). While the system is designed to use only the information you provide, AI output may occasionally contain errors, formatting issues, or imprecise language. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before using it in job applications or other professional contexts.
You agree not to:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CHS Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: lost job opportunities, damages from reliance on AI-generated content, or any outcomes related to your job search. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on third-party infrastructure (Vercel, Anthropic, Stripe) that may experience downtime. If a technical failure prevents you from completing your session, contact us for assistance.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Charleston County, South Carolina.

The Service uses cookies for analytics purposes (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) to help us understand how people use CareerFile so we can improve it. No personal data from your interview is ever included in analytics. You may decline analytics cookies via the consent banner when you first visit — the Service will function fully without them. The Service also uses your browser's localStorage to save interview progress so you can resume if your session is interrupted. This data exists only on your device, is not accessible to us, and is automatically cleared when your session is complete or after 24 hours of inactivity.
Because we don't store your personal data beyond what Stripe retains for payment processing, most data rights requests (access, deletion, portability) apply to Stripe's records. If you'd like to request deletion of your Stripe payment record, contact us and we'll assist you.
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

The Service delivers a digital product (your Career Context Package) generated in real time from your interview session. Because the product is custom-generated and delivered immediately, it cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense.
We understand that things don't always go as planned. If your situation doesn't fit neatly into the categories above, email us and we'll work with you. We'd rather have a happy customer than $20.
